2025 International Film Business Academy

What is this opportunities?

The Busan Asian Film School (AFiS) is now accepting applications for the 2025 International Film Business Academy (IFBA).

The IFBA is a specialized program for experienced filmmakers from across Asia. Approximately 20 participants will be selected to develop a feature-length film project and learn about investment, film policy, marketing, distribution, and other relevant topics.

AFiS has a strong track record of producing successful filmmakers. Recent projects include 'Rapture' (2023), selected for the Locarno Film Festival, 'White Building' (2021), chosen for the Venice Film Festival, 'The Wrestler' (2023), awarded at the Busan International Film Festival, and 'Lori' (2022), recognized at the Cannes Film Festival.

AFiS welcomes aspiring filmmakers from all over Asia to join and contribute to the global film community.

Community Solutions Program

The Community Solutions Program is a year-long program designed to develop established community leaders. Participants will gain leadership skills and practical experience through a four-month U.S. practicum and a graduate-level leadership curriculum.
