What is this opportunities? 

In Washington, D.C., the American Journalism Institute (AJI) stands apart. This non-profit educational organization is dedicated to training the next generation of political journalists, and its new publication, NOTUS, is central to that mission. Each September, AJI welcomes a cohort of early-career reporters to D.C. for a two-year, paid fellowship ($60,000 annually). Fellows learn from the nation's top journalists in classroom settings and gain invaluable practical experience writing for NOTUS. They work alongside seasoned reporters and editors, covering the intersection of politics, policy, and government.

What is this opportunities? 

The Young Leaders Fellowship Program is a unique opportunity for young people aged 18-26 worldwide to tackle community issues in education, health, and economic security. Over a year, the program equips young leaders with skills in leadership, global citizenship, self-awareness, and strategic planning. By working together with mentors, the program aims to empower young people to implement innovative projects and create positive change in their communities, embodying the program's motto: "Local Change Through Global Exchange."

Community Solutions Program

What is this opportunities? 

The Community Solutions Program is a year-long program designed to develop established community leaders. Participants will gain leadership skills and practical experience through a four-month U.S. practicum and a graduate-level leadership curriculum. They will also receive personalized coaching and support to implement a six-month community project in their home country, focusing on issues such as democracy, human rights, environmental sustainability, peacebuilding, and gender equality.

Community leaders will participate in a comprehensive program that includes:

• U.S. Fellowship: A four-month hands-on experience with a U.S. organization to enhance their skills and expertise.
• Leadership Development: A graduate-level curriculum to strengthen leadership and management abilities through face-to-face training, online courses, coaching, and networking.
• Community Projects: Designing and implementing a six-month community development project in their home country, supported by their U.S. host organization.

ADB-Japan Scholarship Program (JSP)

The ADB-Japan Scholarship Program (JSP) offers about 135 graduate scholarships a year for studies in economics, business and management, science and technology, and other development-related fields.

Kellogg Institute for International Studies Visiting Fellowships

Since 1983, the Kellogg Institute for International Studies has offered visiting fellowships to promote interdisciplinary international research in a supportive community of scholars. This widely respected residential program offers you time to pursue scholarly inquiry where it takes you, advance your personal research, and collaborate with other scholars and practitioners from across the US and around the globe.

As a visiting fellow, you pursue research related to Kellogg Institute themes of democracy and human development, share your research with the Notre Dame scholarly community, and have the opportunity to publish in Kellogg’s peer-reviewed Working Paper Series.

Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program

Named in honor of NED’s principal founders, former president Ronald Reagan and the late congressman Dante Fascell (D-Fl.), the Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program is a federally funded, international exchange program that offers democracy activists, journalists, civil society leaders, and scholars from around the world the opportunity to spend five months in residence at the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), in Washington, D.C., in order to undertake independent research on democracy in a particular country or region. Located within NED’s International Forum for Democratic Studies, a leading center for analysis of global democratic developments, the program provides a collegial environment and rich intellectual setting for educational exchange and professional development.

Eisenhower Fellowships Global Program 2025 (Fully-funded to the United States)

In spring 2025, Eisenhower Fellowships will assemble a diverse group of visionaries from across the globe and invite them to the United States for a unique nearly six-week program with both in-person and virtual components. Fellows will develop a project, foster professional relationships and launch dynamic, concrete collaborations with their American counterparts, their cohort and the prestigious EF network of over 2500 Fellows from 115 countries.

American University Emerging Global Leader Scholarship 2025

The AU Emerging Global Leader Scholarship (AU EGLS) promotes educational access and opportunity while enhancing international diversity. Bringing together the best of AU—academic excellence, leadership development, and global engagement—AU Emerging Global Leader Scholars achieve, inspire, and serve with vision. The AU EGLs are dedicated to positive civic and social change to help address issues faced by under-resourced, underserved communities in their home country.

Stamps Scholars Program in the USA 2025 for undergraduate study

Today, it is an internationally prestigious scholarship program and community that helps exceptional students become meaningful leaders throughout society.

University of Georgia Masters Scholarship 2025

The University of Georgia Masters Scholarship offers a fully funded graduate research assistantship with stipends of $24,000 per year, including tuition and other benefits. This opportunity is open to international students interested in joining Dr. Adam Milewski’s research group in the Department of Geology, focusing on developing a machine learning model for coastal Georgia to study groundwater level fluctuations.
